Blue is by far becoming one of my most favorite colors to use in boudoir sessions. If you are afraid of color, but willing to try to go a bit out of your BLACK comfort zone, then blue is the way to go! Victoria Secret has a ton of beautiful dark blue pieces right now!
Pairing a blue piece with blacks, creams, and or browns would make for a lovely little pop of color. I’m always looking for a cohesive feel when planning each session with my clients. A flow to the session is important, because when you are viewing your images later, in an album or an heirloom box, you want a cohesiveness to it so that one image or outfit doesn’t stick out like a sore thumb.
When looking for a blue piece, there really are no rules. My best advice; TRY STUFF ON. Try EVERYTHING on! You never know unless you try it. It’s like broccoli…looks weird, but very yummy! I wouldn’t have ever known unless I tried it!
