Fall Makeup Trends 2017
Hi beauties! I’m Mandy with The Pretty Parlor, and you may have seen my name pop up here and there if your in Melisa’s secret Facebook group. I’ve been working with Melisa on her shoots for over a year now and have been having a blast getting you girls all glammed up for your dream boudoir shoots! While my background is in the bridal industry, I have had such an amazing time doing your boudoir hair and makeup it’s quickly become one of my favorite things to-do. I’m so excited that I get to reach back out to you and share some of my favorite fall makeup trends (that are totally do-able and wearable!). I hope that you ladies love these styles as much as I do.
#1 – Metallic Eye Makeup
What I love about this trend is it’s effortless glamour! One swipe of shimmer across the lid is all that it takes to add a little magic to your everyday makeup routine. This looks best when paired with more natural face makeup.
#2 – Wine Stained lips
Another favorite trend is the wine stained lip. I love this because of it’s slightly undone, muted quality that anyone can rock! The best way to achieve this look is by using a lip liner all over your lips or by blotting away any excess from a normal lipstick application.
#3 – Color Pop
Love a pop of color around the eyes for fall! Nothing beats the doom and gloom like a punch of color. A lot of people tend to shy away from bold colors feeling it may be too much but there are ways to apply it that creates a fun, playful look that isn’t over the top. My favorite way to incorporate color is to smudge it into my lower lash line or pop it on the out corners of the eyes.
#4 – Skip the eyeliner!
This fall you can ditch the liner! Not only will this shorten up your morning makeup routine (I mean, who doesn’t want a little more time in the morning?!) – but it’s also super on trend! We love how this effortless look opens up the eyes.
