Fierce Goddess
From the fierce goddess herself…”I’m saving the big reveal for the hubby’s birthday in September. Initially I did this for me without the intention of surprising him with the photos.
After my session reveal I took a step back in my head watching myself on the screen asking who is this beautiful woman?!?! For the first time in years I saw myself for the fierce goddess I am and lord knows she needed to be awakened. I also sadly for the first time saw the woman he fell in love with and calls beautiful and WOW I love her too! So I decided to save the collection and surprise him on his birthday. It’s funny because I know the exact photos he will fall in love with and it’s sad how critical we are on ourselves as humans and women because they would not be the ones I would initially choose.
Melisa captured such pure moments on camera…laughter being one and I know those are the ones he will love. During and after my actual shoot I felt a confidence I had yet to experience. That inner goddess just knocked down the walls she was hidden behind and just yelled that warrior cry! I cannot begin to thank Melisa and even myself for such an empowering experience. I am so glad I went ahead with a boudoir experience, I think every woman needs to find her warrior goddess and showcase her fierce self to the world. I’ve gone through my app with the photos and it is such an amazing daily reminder for myself of the true beauty that is ME! Next shoot is going to be outside!”
