Left feeling Empowered and Fiercely Beautiful

My gorgeous client in her own words:

Every day our lives are filled with choices. I do not regret my decisions because everything has led to where I am now and who I am, of course things could have gone better or worse but that’s not the point. One of those choices I made last year, which I struggled for 6 months with) was to be a NUDE model (I say NUDE because I have *always* struggled with my body image and lack confidence as a result of the comments I’ve heard over the years).

In June I was added to the group but it took me months to decide to do this and I was so nervous but I can tell you I have never felt so comfortable NAKED (there’s that keyword again) in front of another person (not even my husband). I was surprised at how quickly I jumped into outfits and Melisa is utterly amazing at directing you during the shoot. Mandy did my hair and makeup and she was such a pleasure to talk to and learn makeup tips from!

Anyway, a little about me…I have always had bigger hips and small boobs and was told that’s not beautiful so imagine my surprise when I went to my reveal and saw my HOT pictures (Seriously, I love them!) and thought that every person who’s criticized my looks or weight or body type is completely crazy! I ended up buying the heirloom box (which ended up being FULL of my photos, I really didn’t think I would like so many of them). I gave them to my husband as a gift before I left town and he loved them even more than I did.

So if you are waiting to lose 10lbs, don’t wait. There’s different positions that our lovely, fearless photographer knows of that would make you look stunning (Please don’t let me be the only one who feels empowered and fiercely beautiful, you should experience it too!) If you think you aren’t perfect, well nobody is and I don’t think I ever will be but I’m learning to love myself. I’ve spent years waiting to lose weight and worked hard for it, I ran marathons and hiked high up into the mountains and this experience has helped me see what others always have but I couldn’t. Do it, you deserve it and owe it to yourself!
