Sexy as Hell | Melisa Ford Boudoir
When your client brings in a tiny strappy piece that you can barely tell what the heck it is…you know its going to be a HOT (Sexy as Hell) session!
BTW, I photographed her when she was pregnant with her first son, and I thought she was the most radiant, beautiful person inside and out. She has been through hell and back since then and I’m so glad she finally pursued a boudoir session for HERSELF. I can’t say enough about this lady’s spirit, and overall positive attitude towards life! And just look at her answer below on how she rates her body confidence, and then look at her BANGIN images! Like for real, this woman is a goddess.
Client Interview:
Q: Important info you need me to know before our session, or questions you have:
A: Since my divorce 5 years ago I have a pretty poor self body image thing going…. I’ve been working on that, and this will help me I’m sure. Just wanted you to know…
Q: What motivates you to pursue a boudoir shoot right now?
A: My ex always wanted other women and made me feel very unwanted and bad about my body. I want to get over all that and finally leave those thoughts and feelings behind me.
Q: On a scale of 1-10 (10 being the most confident) how would you rate how you feel about your body? Elaborate.
A: 3…..most of it is in my head I’m sure because of past relationship. (Me: IT IS IN YOUR HEAD! YOU ARE GORGEOUS!)
Q: What three words would you select to describe the look/ feel of the images you hope to create?
A: fierce/edgy, romantic, mysterious (Me: NAILED IT!!)
Q: What, if anything, would make you feel more comfortable and confident heading into your shoot?
A: Ive done a shoot with you before when I was pregnant, and feel comfortable with you. 🙂
This client interview proves how much we are effected by outside influence about ourselves, and our body’s and how much we can allow a negative person in our life to dictate how we feel or perceive ourselves. I love re-reading these interviews AFTER the session and seeing how much her perspective has changed as a result of doing a session. What a gift she’s given herself. Self love is so important!
