Boudoir photography is a type of photography that typically features intimate, sensual, romantic, and sometimes erotic images of its subjects, usually in a private setting such as a bedroom or private dressing room. The photographs are often intended for the private enjoyment of the subject and their romantic partner. Boudoir photography can include individuals or couples. At Melisa Ford Boudoir, we specialize in female empowerment, so our sole focus is on women. The goal is to create a set of photographs that are personal and meaningful, and that can help to celebrate the beauty and sensuality of the subject.

At Melisa Ford Boudoir, we specialize in female empowerment, so our sole focus is on women. Our all-female team of makeup artists plus myself we help you feel relaxed and diminish nerves. While we do not offer couples sessions, we can certainly refer you to a boudoir photographer who offers that service.

Often my clients are looking to boost their confidence by way of a boudoir experience. It’s true, boudoir can be a fantastic confidence boost, but what most women don’t realize is that this confidence lasts more than the day of the session or weeks and months after. The confidence gained from a boudoir experience can last a life time!
