Melisa created such a comfortable, welcoming, and empowering environment that any nerves I had disappeared almost immediately. I just had my second session with Melisa, and once again, it was an absolutely incredible experience. Three years ago, I had such a wonderful first session that I knew I had to come back—and I’m so glad I did. From the moment I arrived, Melisa made me feel completely comfortable, confident, and beautiful. Very comfortable surroundings. No need to be anxious at all. Melisa is a professional with an artistic eye and attention to detail. I have seen my unedited photos thus far and am already happy and confident that I am going to love the finished product. I only put "not sure" on the price paid as I did not compare what I paid to anyone else. It was a price commitment for sure, but it is a once in a lifetime experience for me and I wanted to surprise my fiance. The happy response I am sure to get from him will be worth millions!

I had an amazing experience with Melisa! She made the entire shoot so much fun. Melisa gave plenty of direction and told you exactly how to pose. The space is beautiful and I felt comfortable during my boudoir session and had a blast. The shoot was so empowering! Loved that we could have 4 to 5 outfit changes throughout for a variety of photos and backdrops in the barn. I loved that you could preview the photos right after and the photos turned out amazing. Melisa has a fantastic eye and talent! I can’t wait to receive the gallery & album I ordered. I gifted myself this experience for my birthday after a transformative year and life change and it was worth it ✨ Highly recommend Melisa if you’re looking to book or gift a boudoir session.

The most liberating, fun, and incredible experience that every woman needs to do!!! I’ve never felt more beautiful as these photos came out better than my own wedding! I had the best experience doing a boudoir photo shoot with Melissa. Her studio the boudoir barn was on an old avocado tree property and the views were amazing. I did have to do the shoot early in the morning which meant I was driving in traffic it took me about 3 hrs there and back from San Diego but totally worth it! Her hair and make up team was great she captured the Smokey eye, glamour look I was going for. The shoot made me feel so sexy she empowered! Looking back at the photos I am so happy, I would do it again in a heart beat! I gave my husband a book for our wedding day gift. It was such great quality and he loved it! Thanks for a great experience!

I've waited to give this review because I don't know where to start with the AMAZING experience I had with Melisa. It took me a year to pull the trigger on booking. We all go through doubt and list all the little insecurities in our head of reasons to keep us from treating ourselves with the love for ourselves. Believe me...that was me. At first it was for my significant other...but that made me more insecure, believe it or not. Then I switched my thinking. This had to be for and about me and me alone. If I was going to do it, it was because I felt worthy. From booking to product pick up Melisa is there to guide you and make you feel comfortable. Even when I had a freak out the day before...and changed almost every outfit I was going to wear, I'd enough contact with her to know I could've reached out if I needed to. Day of, is of course nerve racking,but as soon as you walk into the studio you can feel the love, professionalism, and comfort radiating from the space. Mandi is an amazing hair and makeup artist. She listened to my every want and need. I felt I could trust her judgement and style. And of course Melisa. The woman who makes the magic shine from within you. The woman doing what she was called to do!!! Trust me when I say you won't regret choosing to create this art with Melisa! Just pull the trigger already 💖

Service was the best! Not to mention the beautiful studio she offers. Overall, my experience with MFB was a 10/10, from the makeup artist to Melisa, the photographer! 100% recommend booking with Melisa! I have done two shoots with her now and will definitely be back for more. She is great with making you feel comfortable and literally poses you down to the smallest detail, so dont worry if you have never done this before! The boudoir barn is so beautiful and so is the drive there. My nerves completely melted away as soon as we started and Melisa made the whole experience a blast! Self confidence is through the roof after seeing my photos.

ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND!!! I decided to do something spicy for an anniversary gift and what better way than a boudoir shoot? After plenty research, I found Melisa. Her work speaks for itself and is truly breathtaking! The day of my appointment, I was so nervous and scared that maybe I wouldn't look the best in the photos...Melisa set me up for hair and make up and was so reassuring, helping put me at ease. The photoshoot began and was SO MUCH FUN! Melisa walked me through the whole thing, keeping me breathing, calm and most of all HAVING FUN! The studio and property are beautiful and give a very safe feeling (important for women going solo to something like this). At the end of everything, you finally get to see all the hardworking and they are stunning in every way! Melisa is a master at what she does and makes it so much fun to get out of your comfort zone!

If you’ve been thinking of doing a boudoir shoot Melisa is the one to go to! Her attention to detail is amazing. I was very nervous but she made me feel super comfortable. I really enjoyed working with Melissa! Her studio is lovely and I felt very comfortable with the remote and private atmosphere. I also loved that hair and makeup is included! It may be bit of a commute for some, but she is so professional and everything from shoot to viewing and ordering is done in the one appointment. I cannot wait for my photos and hope to do it again someday!

I had a great experience with Melisa! I was a little nervous at first but she kept in touch and prepared me very well. I loved that all I had to do was show up and she handled the rest, from make up to posing! I will definitively be coming back for more. Who knew I could look the way she made me look!

Melisa has a skilled eye for capturing each woman's unique beauty. The property space is stunning & private. She truly led me to be extremely comfortable in my body, especially in full nude. Also, Melisa was so down to test different poses and ideas I had, and was so patient, letting me flow through this beautiful experience. Hard core recommend.

I loved my shoot with Melisa! Being pampered with hair and makeup was fantastic. I did not feel confident in my first outfit. Her coaching and mannerisms brought down my barriers and allowed me to get comfortable with myself. By the end of my session I felt as though I was the queen of the world! The price of the products was intimidating but in the end, they are worth every penny. I'm on a new journey and cannot wait to do another shoot with her in the future! This was a wonderful experience for me. The beautiful drive up to the “boudoir barn” was magical and helped me get in a positive and self-love mindset. Melisa was incredibly warm and easy to work with. I felt comfortable immediately and was ready to have some fun! It was a stunning place to be with great energy. I already want to book again!
