CLIENT INTERVIEW:
Q: What motivates you to pursue a boudoir shoot right now?
A: I did a boudoir photo shoot when I was 30, for a friend’s portfolio, who was just starting out. When I saw you hosting a contest for July birthdays, I decided to enter, and I can’t believe I won! I turned 40 in July, so what better treat to myself than a professional boudoir shoot with an experienced photographer this time.
Q: On a scale of 1-10 (10 being the most confident) how would you rate how you feel about your body? Elaborate.
A: 6. I plan to be an 8 by the time of the shoot. I just started back on a fitness/eating regimen that I let fall away during lockdown. I had two C-sections a year apart and have a fleshy fold called a “mother’s apron.” It has caused me a lot of distress over the years, but I know there are ways to disguise/hide it.
Q: What three words would you select to describe the look/ feel of the images you hope to create?
A: Glamorous, Erotic and Confident.
