Today I asked my body what she needed,
Which is a bid deal
Considering my journey of
Not Really Asking That Much
I thought she might need more water.
Or protein.
Or greens.
Or yoga.
Or supplements.
Or movement.
But as I stood in the shower
Reflecting on her stretch marks,
Her roundness where I would like flatness,
Her softness where I would like firmness,
All those conditional wishes
That form a bundle of
Never-Quite-Right-Ness
She whispered very gently:
Could you just love me like this?

I believe women of ALL shapes and sizes not only deserve to feel beautiful, it’s their f*cking right to feel beautiful. Whether you are a size 2 or a size 22, you owe it to yourself to love the body you are in right now. You do you.
Client Interview:
Q: What motivates you to pursue a boudoir shoot right now?
A: Self love and anniversary gift for my husband.
Q: On a scale of 1-10 (10 being the most confident) how would you rate how you feel about your body? Elaborate.
A: 6 to 7. I’m overweight, so that plays a part. But my main things are I have ketosis pilaris on my arms (little red dots) and bad acne scars on my lower back.
Q: What three words would you select to describe the look/ feel of the images you hope to create?
A: Sexy, hot, desirable.
