Strong & Beautiful Maternity Boudoir | Melisa Ford Boudoir
This was Miss I’s second boudoir session in a year. At her first session she had just found out she was pregnant! I love that I got to capture these moments in her life and celebrate the amazing beauty of the female body and how powerful motherhood is. She embraced her body and enjoyed this session in quite a different way than her first one. I absolutely love the lingerie pieces she brought in to accentuate her baby bump!
CLIENT INTERVIEW:
Q: What motivates you to pursue a boudoir shoot right now?
A: It was such an amazing experience, I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to try and win a free session. Especially since this session will be a maternity boudoir, I’m already starting to feel completely NOT sexy with my giant belly. This will give me a chance for that, before being devoted to the baby.
Q: On a scale of 1-10 (10 being the most confident) how would you rate how you feel about your body? Elaborate.
A: 3-6 depending on the day. Clothes aren’t fitting and stretch marks are appearing.
Q: What three words would you select to describe the look/ feel of the images you hope to create?
A: Strong, confident, happy.
