The Boudoir Barn Debut
After 6 months of blood, sweat, and tears (lots of sweat from my super handy husband!!) the Boudoir Barn is finally open!!
I am proud to say I have created a space that truly offers a one-of-a-kind boudoir experience, and that no other studio in Southern California has anything like it!
You may be wondering, why a barn? Well, the answer is two fold.
Time to get “outta the city”!
First, my family was looking for a change from living in “the city” and the daily rat-race was wearing on our hearts and health. So, about 2 years ago, we started considering moving out of state. After much research and lots of house hunting, we decided it was best to stay in CA, and move to an area in the county that had property that best suited our needs as a family with young kids, and that could provide an on-site location for my business. We settled on looking in the Valley Center area, minutes from the 15 freeway and highway 76.
Second, the conditions I required to purchase a home here in North County San Diego, required some fancy investigating by my amazing Real Estate Agent, and a lot of time looking at places. My requirement was that there was a separate “building” of a certain size, that had potential for great light, for my studio. There was not specific type of building I had in my head (thank goodness because I looked at a ton of pretty crazy options!). When we found this property, my husband was the one that had the vision. But when I saw the barn, I thought, you know what, THIS COULD WORK! And sure enough…it did, indeed.
