Hotel Palomar Boudoir Session
This boudoir session came about because my client and good friend wanted beautiful images of herself at this particular point in her life. She had two kids, had been married for several years, and was looking to capture herself in a moment in time where she felt the most confident and content. Also, in her words, she wanted a book “that I can look at when I’m a grandma and say, damn, I was hot!”. She was born in Sweden and came to the US to go to college where she met and fell in love with her now husband. She is beautiful. Like the kind of beautiful where you literally stare. More than that though, she’s a kind, good, generous human being. The kind of person who’s easy to admire (and be a bit jealous of) because she just seems to have it all! She was a dream to photograph and we had a blast together. We laughed a lot. And I got lost in my own world just snapping away. I could have photographed her for hours.
My favorite part about this session, is that she’s the type who just doesn’t see her beauty as the rest of us do. She doesn’t see her perfect, perfectness. She’s stunning — and when she saw the images — she finally could see what the rest of us see. I’m so proud to have had the pleasure of creating her grandma brag book!
